Bosch Exxcel Tumble dryer no heat?

I have seen from other questions that since my Bosch Exxcel Tumble dryer is only blowing cold air into the clothes then I should check the small red trip switch inside the back of the machine. I have done this and tried to press the red button inward but it seems lifeless and does not click in.. what am I doing wrong ?

You need to check if the elctricity is getting too the heater. The heater connections can been seen on the righthand side looking at the back of the machine. A mains tester is required or you could use a lamp holder and flex with a bulb. (But be carefull electricity can kill)
If power is at the two connections the heater has blown and replaced it is the only way forward.
