Mend Singer 775 Sewing Machine Stitches Problem

Singer Model 775 Bobbin problem?

The sewing machine winds the bobbin, picks up the thread and all goes well for 2 or 3 stitches. Then I get a big ball of thread that jams it up down in the bobbin every time. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Hello Sandy,
It sounds like to need to get the top tension sorted out, it mat be too loose, make sure the presser foot is up when you thread the machine.
