the drum did not turn electrolux ewf1090?

This machine is well known for its ability to get a coin stuck in it between the inner and outer drum, jambs drums, fries belt. This is a major job to get out, involves opening cabinet, remove full outer drum springs and then off struts (without snapping them, lift dont allow drum to fall out) remove weights, split outer tub in half, remove coin, reassemble. I would strongly recommend calling a technician. Most technicians will take approx 90-120mins to do the job.

have the bearings failed and drum seized up?.if it is a foreign object you will need to remove it by whatever means.look down between door rubber gasket and the stainless inner drum for socks etc jammed in there.might of pulled the drive belt off or damaged it?
