Mend Chrysler Neon Ignition Barrel Problem

chrysler neon ignition ?

i have a neon 1999 some times when i put the key in ignition tne barrel is very stiff does anyone else have this problem if yes is it doun to lubrication and would wd40 do the trick thanks andy

Chrysler Chrysler Neon Vehicles, Cars Ignition Barrel Problem

Having had ignition key locking up problems with my 2001 Neon, I've purchased a new switch (abclockstore.ecrater.com) and there are some good instructions on utube (their video shows the replacement on the exact model I have) - so I'm about to do the swap.
Once the cams & springs get jammed up I don't think oil or grease will help.
