Mend Vauxhall Corsa Immobiliser Ignition Engine

i broke my key in ignition have replaced barrel and ignition switch i have held broken key next to none chip key the car wants to start but immobiliser stopping it and engine light flashing ive been told i prob need new immobiliser arial code 90532624 if i get one with same code will that work or what will i have to do to solve this problem

the "ring" around the key barel contains a micro and memory chip - it has to be programmed for the key to work - sometimes its just the wire from the coil that comes adrift but you will need a soldering iron and know what to look for to fix it!
