Mend Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 Problem Car Ignition

how can i fix problem with car ignition ?

Hi please can you help me with the problem of my car .
The ignition barrel has been replaced and i brought a new ignition switch, there is no lights to show ignition on,on the dashboard,and car wont start,have put chip in new key old key will control central locking, but still nothing help please.the car is a y reg vauxhall zafira 1.6.

take cowling off check the the switch is working take the plug with the wires on off and turn it with a screw driver if the car turns over its the barrel trying to help
