Just bought a Sharan and Im having trouble getting the rear wipers working any ideas its stuck in the upright position ?

my windshield works and some times stops... and now i say to this forum ...thanks a lot really...but i have a diference... my vw sharan has fuse nº 34 with the simbol of a fan and it was good but a litle damage like disolving so i replace it and it work.... other wise to be with my contience clean i change the fuse nº 33 too. and it resolve my problem.

Yes as some other sugested check fuse no 33 befor doing anything else ,
But make sure you check no24 also just in case coz mine shows 24 for front screen on diagram but when I checked it , it was fine insted it was no 33 which was blown , replaced it and its working now.

i have the same problem with the windscreen wipers i have wipers on high speed that work for a bit and stop have got a new relay but cant work out where it goes any one help me on this thanks phil

thankyou so much had same probs with wipers and just cheaked fuse 33 and all sorted im a taxi driver and has saved my skin as busy busy now was change 33 or thrash the car with a very large branch haha thanks

Great advice. Had ruled out fuses after finding no. 20 was ok, which had the wiper picture on it. Fortunately checked on this site before I was going to take to a garage. 2 minute job.

ok where is fuse 33 my fuse box dont seem to go that high i think mine only goes to fuse 25

Hi thanks to all of you regarding their answers to Front wiper not working on their Sharan/Galaxy, I had the same problem today with the front wiper not working & rear wiper working!, you all saved me an expensive trip to the mechanic, the manual for the Sharan hasn't got fuse 33 listed under Wipers!!! Managed to take fuse 33 out and it was the culprit... thanks.

yep fuse 33. it has a fan on it and i never checked it. got new motor, took dash apart, switch removed, checked mechanism and fuse 33 was the culprit all along.

hi changed the motor wiper and cleaned the spindles and it still not working HELLLLLLP ME someone please dont no what else to do the fuse has been checked

Just put a new wiper switch in the sharan beacause of the same problem, wish I'd looked here first!!!!! same fault, Fuse 33 has a picture of a fan on it, No wonder I didnt see it before. Changed the fuse, works fine now.

Great job Chay mine had the same problem rear wiper would come on when you tried to spray the front changed the 10amp fuse No. 33 bottom row but mine was second from left

get your owners manual out and check fuse 33 it's the bottom row 2nd from the right it should be horizontal not vertical
