repairing a diverter valve worcester heatslave 20/25?

Is it possible to repair the accentuator/diverter valve on the heatslave 20/25, its giving heating and water together when either one is turned off. Also the water runs cold quickly when running a bath, I have been told that they tend to stick with age, plus I live in a hard water area.
