peugeot speedfight 100cc R reg won't start?

no colin it will not be the timing it cannot go out as its a two stroke engine and has no valves only a reed valve which is impossible for it to go wrong unless it breaks the petals on it .the ignition timing is very very un likely to go wrong too as its preset to discharge at a certain voltage and they are quite reliable if its sparking its ok.The most likely thing is the bike has had a seizure and the piston is damaged and needs a new one fitting you need to take the barrel of and inspect it to see if it has any score marks down the side of it .has it been run out of oil at all ???as this will certainly do the damage that will stop it running let me know what you fi9nd and i will try to help you some more ok ,adam
