Speedfight CDI Immobilizer Problem????

my immobilizer light is on even when there is no key in bike have fuel and spark but will not start when key is in is in bike still will not start this bike is a speedfigt2 50cc

ive got the same problem turn the key on and the light has one longflash then 2 short flashes bfore coming o and staying on an ideas on how to fix it?

DO NOT DO what callum says!!! he the 2 flashes mean the chip in they key isnt recognized, and the three flashes mean the transponder unit is not authorised to start the vehicle. the first thing i would do all be it that it may be ok is check the antennae loop around the barrell, use a mulitmeter, it should have a resistance of 17 ohms, if this is ok, then if you have already tried to reprogramme it and it hasnt worked, then your screwed, dont waste your money on anything else besides a bypass unit from either electrex or ve uk. this is the only way you will get it running again, i specialise in these, and as adam, bb, or any of the other techs on here will tell you the same as what i am, listen too us, pitbike my arse, the old c90 cdi unit is what you use to bypass the older aec 400 system

Hi M,
The original cdi flashes, key switched on, one long flash then 2 quick flashes then nothing.
The second cdi that did start the scoot, again key switched on, one long flash then three quick flashes but longer flashes than above then stops on constant.
The immobilizer light does flash when the key has been switched off on both units.
Does this help??

put a 110 pitbike cdi unit on it join wires of pitbike wiring to speedfight wiring then then you will never have an immobiliser problem again

does the light stay on when the ignition is on, if it does it aint gonnna start under any circumstance!!!!!!!!!!! you need to tell me how many flashes before it stays on so i can point you in the right direction
