peugeot elyseo 100cc starting probs?

hi knowledgeable scooter people...
i have a lovely 100cc peugeot elyseo i bought,,, then it wouldn't start...replaced battery and spark,,,i am told its a immobilizer problem,,,should i replace the cdi with one that bypasses immobilser? thanks
