Zanussi AquaFlow Machine Stalls at Rinse/Drain stage of cycle?

Our Machine has started with this problem recently. It is a Zanussi AquaFlow.

Thought it was simply a blocked filter so removed same but nothing there to cause blockage.

Once water was manually drained we could go to spin etc. and finish cycle thinking problem was now solved...however not so and on next wash again machine stalled at the same stage so we are left with a machine full of water and saturated clothes.

Have flushed out drum with external hose pipe with very strong water flow thinking we might flush something out further up the filter but no joy. Checked drainage pipe all the way back to waste pipe which is clear.

Looking at your site answers it sounds to me like our motor might be blocked or clogged. Where is this on the machine could anybody tell me please and how do I get at it to remove it. The filter screws off at the bottom front of the machine is it here I need to look for pump filter or drain motor etc.
