Mend Fisher & Paykel 920 Dishwasher Wont Wrong

Our Nautilus 920 Dishwasher won't turn on, what's wrong?

Our Fisher & Paylel Dishwasher won't turn on. When the mains switch is in the on position and the "ON" button is pushed, we only get 3 beeps, but no lights. Recently we had a U1 Code showing, but after removing the strainer and pulling the machine out a touch, the code was removed and the machine has been working for a week or so. Can this be fixed?

Door not closed properly. It has to activate the door switch. Maybe something has broken in the handle and not allowing part to press switch fully down.
