i put washingup liquid in my dishwasher know it won't heatup or drain what ?

You have probably got air /suds trapped in the pump and in the discharge tube. Switch it off.
Pull the dishwasher out and get a washing up bowl and lay the discharge tube down until it starts to drain the water out of the unit. Open the door and put about 3litres of clean water in and gravity drain it again. when you think you have all the suds out - reinstall the unit and set it of on a rinse cycle.
Dont forget to put the drain tube back in its pipe!
