ran it without a bag?

We inadvertently ran the vacuum (Panasonic Jet-Flo upright) a few times with no bag. What's the best way to clean the machine?

They are hardy vacuums. Usually it just involves replacing the filter below the bag with a new one. If I had the unit in front of me, I would be inclined to take the motor cover off just to check things out. Should be okay though.
