Mend Nintendo DS Lite Power Replaced Fine

Intermittent Power Fault?

Just had a touch screen replaced on a ds lite, works fine, but if i leave the console off for a bit, then switch back on, it doesnt work - i have to take out the battery, put it back in and then it works again, but i have to do this all the time.

Any ideas or solutions to try.
