Mend Scantronic 9651 Bell Box

scantronic 9651 bell temper?

I just put in a scantronic 9651 alarm box I have programmed it but I cannot get it to work because I can not get rid of bell temper alarm I know it needs a return from the bell box but as I have no where to put a bell box I am not going to put a bell box hence cannot get a return from the bell box what I want to know is what sort of condition is the system looking for at this port 0v ? +12v ?or -12v can anyone help please

We have the same alarm and been having problems with the alarm going off we replaced the back up battery as it said batt missing but now we are getting bell tamper fault i am in the engineers reset but cannot get out because of the bell tamper. Please advise as to how we can sort and stop the alarm going off when we come out of engineers reset!

Tamper return is 0v. Just link it to the adjacent 0v terminal.

Paul take a wire link from ov 0 volts on the aux output and connect it to the tr which is located next to the speaker terminals, by doing this your panel will think all is ok, and reset.
