My 9800alarm went off for no apparent reason. The display shows b6. I have put the system into Eng. mode and opened the end panel to stop the beeping. Any ideas on the fault? Due to the heavy rain we are having could it be the bell box? If so does this mean a complete replacement or a simple clean and dry?
look after this old girl mate she is one of a kind very,very reliable,as long as you get her serviced each year its obsolete now am sad to say parts are hard to find ,

replacer the battery inside the end station,its a 7 amp battery ,turn mains power off before opening it
