how can i fix my sewing machine?

hi i have a brother vx 1125 i was sewing away when the needle would not move tried turning the disk by hand totally jammed. The needle is attached to the main shaft and this shaft will not drive it the motor still drives the belt when trying to wind a bobbin but as soon as you click back to sewing mode nothing moves. Can anyone help i am half way through my curtains.

You need to take out the bobbin case and raceway to see if there is any thread jammed, you can check it first by turning the balance wheel backwards to free it off.
