Mend Frister Rossmann Beaver 4 Sewing Machine Needle Repair

Frister rossmann beaver 4....sticking ....please help?

Hi...please advise me how to address this problem...my sewing machine sticks when I want to sew. When I press the pedal I can hear the motor activate but the needle will not start moving until I also turn the hand wheel. I have tried oiling the machine but it is still the same.

My drive belt from the motor was slack . With bottom panel remove adjust by loosening motor drive nut and moving motor.

sometimes oiling only will not help,oil gets sticky and part cant operate freely ,only way is to clean with cleaning solvent all moving parts and then oil again,i normally use a mixture of parrafin and terpentyn to clean.also make sure there is nothing stuck between moving parts of hook
