Mend Amcor TC100 Left Apart Clean Small

Amcor TC100 - Part left over?

I took my Amcor TC100 apart to clean it. I found a small, shiny, spring-like component lying on the upper level of the machine behind the switch panel. It is sort of fish-shaped and curved. I can't see where it fits back - can you advise please?

It's the impeller spring to the fan - it stops impeller from slipping off the fan shaft.
