how can i fix my car,ford,mondeo 1997 diesiel?

more...thye reason it starts after a while is because the compression will build up after its been turning over for a while slowly with the weak starter and then it has to burn off all the fuel which has been pumped into it while it wasnt firing giving the exact symtons you have described ie flooding ok ,adam

its a very good chance the starter motor is weak and is not cranking the engine fast enough get a new one fitted and make sure its a good quality one this is very common with ford diesel cars ,its most certainly not poo in the exhaust unless of course someone is shi**ing in it while its parked up like the other chap suggested good luck ,adam.

check that your exhaust isn't blocked with c**p because on diesels that is quite common
