Mend Whirlpool AWZ 541 Clean Dryer Lint

How can I clean my Whirlpool Inspirations AWZ 541 condenser dryer?

I empty the lint trap in my dryer every time I use it, but lots of wet lint has still accumulated underneath. I've tried digging it out, but some is below the "teeth" and I can't get at it. It's started to smell. What should I do to clean it out?
