plumber said there is water in tank?

hi we are having problems with are warm flow boiler
are plumber said we had water in are tank he drained it away and said we were lucky the next week it stopped firing up
my hubby had to keep going outside to press the button
plumber came back fitted a new pump and filter
it went ok for another week and started again
phoned plumber today he says we need are tank drained is this right or is he after more money
please help

HUBBY CHECKED AS YOU SAID THERE WAS SOME A FEW
WEEKS AGO AND THERE HASNT BEEN ANY SINCE
HE CHECKED THIS MORING AGAIN AND THERE WAS NONE BUT THERE WAS A BIT OF DIRT THE PLUMBER CAME TODAY AND CHANGED THE CAMPATOR DONT KNOW HOW TO SPELL IT
MY HUBBY WENT INTO THE HOUSE AND PRESSED THE BUTTON AND THE HEATING CAME ON
WILL THIS WORK FOR A WHILE OR WILL IT GO AGAIN
DO WE NEED THE TANK DRAINED
HE ASLO PUT A NEW FILTER ON AND A NEW PUMP

Do you mean you have water in your central heating oil tank? If so there could well be more, and normally you find out by disconnecting the outlet pipe and drawing some oil into a clear glass bottle. The water stays on the bottom, the oil on top.
