Mend Piaggio NRG Scooter Problem

piaggio nrg dies out?

my piaggio nrg has a problem but i cant seem to work out what, when riding is a bit jumpy up to about 20mph then runs fine. but riding home today in the rain starts going 5mph, so walk home start up it revs but theres no power/pull then when you leave it just dies out.. some help please.
