Mend Indesit WIA 101 Washing Machine Wont Start Door Lock

Indesit wia 101 ! lights are on, but machine wont start?

When the machine is turned on it starts to fill with water, but then stops dead after about 30 seconds.
then door lock unlocks after a couple of minutes but the water is still in the drum ! thanks
