Mend Whirlpool Drain Spin Pump

My Whirlpool wont drain or spin isit the capasitor?

My whirlpool won't drain or finish rinse cycle or go into spin. The pump is not clogged nor are the hoses. Is it the capasitor?

If your washer fills agitates and stops without draining, spinning and the timer stops advancing you could have a bad lid switch. It can be broken internally or externally. Go to apdepot.com to find a diagram of how to access the lid switch for replacement.
