SONY VPL-CS4 not operate after replacing the fan?

SONY VPL-CS4 the lamp cooling fan was broken. After replacing it, the yellow indicator temp/fan flashes and the projector doesn't work

l have a sony vpl projector after replacing the filter l had the same problem, l resolved it by sticking a couple of layers of tape on the lug that pushes against the tiny micro switch in the filter cover, there is also a similar set up in the lamp cover , l also applied tape there too, l have had no further problems since.
