Mend Hoover TV630 001 Heating Started Noise

Hoover TV630 001 not heating up?

Ok dryer started to make loud clicking noise, found a screw in fan. Fastened it all back together and noticed a single red wire not connected. Now i'm not sure if i've put it in the right place and the dryer wont heat. Anyone know where the red wire connects? I've heard there is a fuse, could I have blown this to the thermostate? Where is the fuse and how do I replace it please?

p.s. had the element and thermostate checked all ok. Must be the red wire. Cheers
