Mend Hotpoint AQxFF 149PI Rinse Spin

My Hotpoint Aqualtis AQxFF 149PI "sticks" on 1min to end of cycle ?

The only way I can get it to rinse and spin is to turn it off,then on again and turn dial to spin.
It literally can be stuck for hours showing 1min left of cycle.

Any ideas?????

Oh and it doesn't like the fastwash setting-all the lights flash.
