Mend Craftsman Chainsaw Filter Carb

How can I fix my old craftsman chainsaw?

saw will not pickup fuel from tank. fuel line & filter have been replaced. I can suck fuel through the line from the tank to the carb. It will run while I drip fuel directly into carb. Why won't it pickup fuel from tank?

Your diaphram in the carburetor needs to be replaced (carb. rebuild) or you impluse line is leaking and needs to be replaced.
