Miele Dishwasher?

Remove the filter & check for blockages. If you don't find anything obvious pull out the dishwasher & turn it on it's back, remove the 4 screws holding the bottom plate in place. Once that is removed you gain access to the main components, take off the pump & check if there is a piece of glass jamming the impellor (the pump has a bayonet fitting). P.S. could also be mechanical wear on the pump itself...check for bearing wear while you have the pump out). Good luck
