How can I fix my JVC video camera?

my camcorder keeps saying its in safe mode eo1 ive taken the battery out and switch it all of but still comes up its in safe mode , it seems to be charging fine jvc gr-fxm40 gr-fx16

If your camera displays the words "lens cap" when the cap is already off and you have a virtually black screen and viewfinder, then JVC know about this problem and will fix it for free, to include collection and return to you all free!
Telephone JVC helpline on 0845-3108000 explain your problems.
