how can i fix my lens cap problem?

Every time i switch my camcorder on it says that the lens cap is still on, even though the lens cap is removed, how do i fix it. It is a jvc model GR- D60EK

Do an internet search for JVC LENS PROBLEM there are several good instructions including You Tube.

I fixed my GR-D20. Had to strip the top down to the control PCB. Shorted out some pins to reset back to factory settings. Procedure to long to write it down here.
