Mend Ford 2008 Mondeo Replacing Main Light

Replacing a rear lamp in my 2008 Mondeo hatchback?

Hi, I am replacing a rear lamp ( main back light off side ) on my 2008 Mondeo 2.0 hatchback and having trouble removing the old one. I have removed 3 nuts and disconnected the plug but it doesn't seem to want to come out, should I be doing anything else ?
