Mend Indesit WD12X Cycle Door

indesit wd12x, programmer spinning round only?

the programmer now does not move when selecting any cycle, all that happens is the door locks. should i spray wd40 on programmer or does in need repleced. please supply model number if needed. the washer/dryer is only 4 years old.
