my alarm goes off intermittantly, always showing zone 2 tamper. I placed a link in the main panel to remove the tamper system altogether, but the problem still occurs. New panel?
Sorry for the delay, i have linked out zone 2 in the main panel. It seemed ok for a few days then just the tamper goes off without showing a zone light. Regards

if the alarm tampers and it shows tamper and zone 2 together then theres a problem with zone 2 it could be faulty if you open zone 2 pir check the wires it should have a tamper terminal and if wires go in to the terminal check there not loose and most of all check the 12v and ov it should be they might be red and black or black and red check there not loose then reconect the pir and open the main panel and check zone 2 in the panel no wires are loose and then look for aux in the panel and check no wires are coming out of the aux thats red and black in the panel aswell get back to me if that works

yes the sensor lights up. I did wander about the sensor but couldn't see why it would bring on the tamper.

nope not a new panel when you move near zone 2 does the sensor light up
