blinking light on JVC television. nothing comes on screen?

I am having the same problem so I called Sony but in your case you need to call JVC and talk with a tech. They asked me how many times the red light was blinking in between and for me it is 4 times which means it has a power problem and will need to be taken somewhere to be repaired. The number of times it blinks before staying off tells the tech something which he then maybe can solve your problem. I wish you luck. Have a good day :)
