Simpson Encore bearing seized and seal worn?

My Simpson Encore 703 has just blown a fuse because the bearings are too worn. This probably happened because the seals have gone - there has been grease coming itno the washing. Have tried to remove tub but can't get it out. Have taken out the 2 screws that hold top section and flipped it up. Have remove agitator bolt and agitator. Have removed the bolts inside the tub at the bottom - sheared all except 2. Have removed bottom brases and pully. Tried tapping shafts top and bottom but no movement. How do I get at the bearings & seal?
