can my amp be salvaged?

i have an ibanez gta15r practice amp and i flip the switch to cut it on and the amp starts smoking and cuts off... i open up the amp to find that the red wire has shorted and i can no longer get any sound however i can cut the amp on.... is it worth the trouble or can the wires be replaced
