Mend Alpha Heating 240e Pressure Error

alpha 240 e boiler not firing up for water but will for heating?

my alpha 24oe boiler fires up fine for the central heating but not when you turn the hot taps on. and if the heating is on and you turn the hot tap on it switches off. There are no error lights on and the pressure is still ok. whats wrong and can i fix it?
