What make/year/model/engine/fuel type of car?
Has it ever been serviced (properly, not just oil and filter change)?
Any warning lights on dash lit up while driving?
Any running problems?
Is it better or worse when engine is hot or cold?
What happens when you turn the key? Nothing at all, or a clicking sound and the dash lights go dim, or does the engine spin as normal/faster/slower than usual?

just to help it could be the fuel pump i havin trouble with my mondeo it only wants to start properly when car is warm
