Mend Renault Megane Dynamique Steering Fault

Megane Dynamique states Steering Fault ?

All of a sudden my 2005 megane dynamique stated stop and then steering fault, the stering locked, when i pulled over and restarted it, it was fine, its just been serviced recently, any ideas exactly what is wrong?

The Megane has its own PAS module, complete with on board computer. I very much doubt that the steering actually locked - more likely the power assistance turned off making it feel like that. Visit a Renault main dealer - they have seen this before - and see what they say.
