renault megane 53 plate electronic fault abs service light no speedometer?

hi when indicator is down the high level brake light flashes any reasons why?

My Megane Speedo have same problem, ABS sensor are fine, ABS itself reading speed on diagnostic but speedo isnt working. any idea?

There is a white multiplug in a blackbox next to the battery the wires get corroded 9 times out of 10 if you bypass the plug by just joining wires problem goes a away but this is if you have a speedo / mileometer fault and abs light doesnt come on

Im having the same problem with my megane and garages havent got a clue! Did you find the fault??

tryed that one mate didnt work. it is the black cable that clips in to wheel bearing isnt it. tryed the right one too. can disconct the plug where it connects and check for continuity or a set resistence or anything.

Hi your problem is almost without a doubt the ABS sensor on the left front wheel it gives the speed signal to the speedo, the engine computer, and the ABS computer, chancers are its not totaly duff just dirty, jack the car up remove the wheel and then remove the sensor, spray cleen it with WD40 refit and it should clear the fault, if you have access to a fault code reader it should highlight this sensor.
