how to fix my renault megane?

please can you state if its a megane two and if it is ,if there is a fault with the steering lock the car will not start , they should be able to read the faults that come up on there diagnostic tool and if it keeps say ing that there is a fault on the steering lock ,and the car keeps on not starting and the panel keeps saying theres a fault with the steering lock i would get it replaced , i think they are around under £300 then you have the labour as well , and if it is a megane two ,D0 NOT BUY A SECOND HAND STEERING LOCK AS THEY ARE CODED TO THE VEHICLE ,ITS PART OF THE IMMOBLISER SYSTEM,hope this helps.
