Mend Hotpoint DR52 Second Hand Water

how do i get my hotpoint dishwasher first edition dr52 to work?

i have bought a hotpoint dishwasher first edition dr52 second hand. have set it up but it is not put water into the machine. there is plenty of water in the inflow pipe but nothing seems to be coming into the main dishwash area. is there a reset button? need to know as fed up washing the dishes
