Mend McCulloch Trimac 240 Strimmer Engine

How can I fix my McCulloch Trimac 240?

I have just bought a second hand strimmer, it starts after just a few pulls, runs for a while then stalls for no apparent reason.
I need to look into repairing it myself as I can't afford to pay for somebody else to do it.
