the car gos 100% when i am on the motorway sometimes when ur in 5th gear the car does not want to go faster but then it will kick in then not dead again something does it in 4th as well but 1st 2nd and 3th are fine. can anyone help me on this.
could be many things but check the easy things first, air filter, fuel filter then look at the turbo pipes making sure there all tight and no splits ,this will cause pressure loss, after that it's probably a diagnostic to see if that shows any thing

no doing 60 mph plus sometimes there no kick then it kicks in then off again it 2.0 hdi 110bhp sometimes it does not kick in at all and if you put into 4th nothing at all but 1,2,3 100%

when you say it won't go faster in 4th &5th gear i assume it's when your driving round town ,if your changing gear to early so the engine does not have enough revs it will be slow picking up as the turbo only reaches full boost pressure at about 2000 rpm this will be even more noticeable if it's the 2.0 hdi 90 bhp had one myself and thought it lacked ooomph now got 2.2 16 valve h d i much much better
