Could be the AC adaptor, could be the motherboard. See if you can borrow a similar AC adaptor from someone else to see if it powers up? It must be 19V so make sure of that. You can see if it is or not on the description on the adaptor itself. I have seen most fail for AC adaptors, not the motherboard, so hopefully, a cheap resolution
