how can i get my radiator to fill with hot water?

make sure taps at both ends of of the rariator are open find the bleed valve and open it (there may be two bleed screws on a double radiator) switch heating on and wait for the watter to run out of the bleed valve this is ok for gravity systems if you have a combi boiler you will have to fill the system to the apropriate level (usually between 0.5-1.5 bar)and keep bleeding the radiators untill all the air is gone
